Allegiant Air dominates this route with the most daily departures—up to 14 flights a day—and the lowest base fares. They often undercut competitors by $20-$30 on the same day. Tucson International (TUS) is 120 miles from downtown Phoenix. Flights from LAS to TUS cost $75-$90 round-trip and take 1h25m. You’d need a rental car to get to Phoenix, adding $50+ for gas and car fees. Not worth it unless you’re going to Tucson itself.
Flagstaff (LAX) is even further at 170 miles from Phoenix. Flights here are rare and expensive—$120+ round-trip with no direct flights from LAS. Skip this unless you’re hiking the Grand Canyon.
