How much do the best flights booking sites actually cost?

Google Flights shows base fares but hides fees, while Kayak displays total prices upfront. For LHR-MAD routes in March 2025, Kayak listed Ryanair FRS1234 at €48.90 (2h15m) versus Google Flights' €52.30 headline price that included a €3.40 "convenience fee." Wizz Air flight W62048 from LHR to MAD cost €51.20 on Kayak versus €54.70 on Skyscanner, with the latter adding a €3.50 "reservation fee" not shown in search results.
