About Măgura Jina
Măgura Jina sits above Jina, one of the shepherding villages of Mărginimea Sibiului in the hills of Transylvania, at the foot of the Cindrel mountains. It is a quiet, high part of the country, known for its pastures, its old crafts and some of the cleanest air in Romania.
The hotel is built for slowing down: a spa and wellness area with a jacuzzi and massage, a restaurant with local cooking and breakfast included, and warm rooms that look out over the mountains. It is an easy base for walking in the Cindrel range, for the Transalpina road, and for the villages and city of Sibiu nearby.

Măgura Jina is in the hills southwest of Sibiu, in Transylvania.Nearest airport: Sibiu (SBZ), about 45 minutes by road, so it is easy to reach even for a short stay.
By car: off the DN67C towards the Transalpina, in the Mărginimea Sibiului villages.
Best time: late spring to autumn for the mountains and trails; snowy and calm in winter.
